We’re getting behind the day by having a coffee morning as well as throwing the oven glove down to bakers to take part in our first ever charity baking competition, to raise even more money for the cause.
It’s the first time we’re getting involved with the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning and to make it really big, we’re asking you to bake something scrumptious at home and bring it into the pub tomorrow morning for a special charity bake-off.
Pop in any time after 9.30am tomorrow and bring a cake – you’ve got the rest of today and this evening to get baking! – and a donation to Macmillan Cancer Support and we’ll give you a free coffee. We’ll also enter every cake into a competition with all proceeds from the sale of the cakes afterwards also going to Macmillan.
All the entries will be tasted by our panel of judges including head chef Ray, who will be looking for a great looking and tasting bake and awarding a prize for the best. So if your brownies are the best of the bunch or you make a sensational sponge, simply bring them in tomorrow morning and you could be crowned Eversley’s best baker! It’s a great way to get involved and do your bit for a fantastic cause.
Everyone loves a slice of cake with their coffee so why not make it count by coming in tomorrow morning, anytime from 9.30am and 11.30am to take part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Care.
The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning takes place every year to raise much needed funds for Macmillan Cancer Care. Every coffee poured and every cake shared will mean someone facing cancer will have the Macmillan support they need. Find out more here
